2 月 16 日消息，微软今天发布的 Windows 11 Build 26052 预览版日志中，明确表示今年秋季发布的 Windows 系统为“Windows 11 Version 24H2”，而非此前猜测的“Windows 12”。

　　微软更新日志内容如下：

　　自今天发布的 Windows 11 Build 26xxx 预览版开始，Canary 和 Dev 频道的 Windows Insider 项目成员打开设置-> 系统-> 关于，可以看到版本号已升至 Version 24H2。

　　这表示 2024 年的年度功能更新叫作 Windows 11 Version 24H2。如前所述，Windows 11 将在下半年发布年度功能更新。

　　此前有用户猜测，今年发布的 Windows 11 新版本将迈入锗(Germanium)时代，会整合诸多 AI 功能，并以“Windows 12”形式发布。不过，微软现已证实，情况并非如此。
